After completing his PhD in Neuropharmacology, he trained as a Commercial Pilot in London and Oxford. He then became a Flight Instructor and taught trainee Commercial Pilots as an Aviation Theory Instructor at Heathrow before becoming licensed to fly the Boeing 737 aircraft with Astraeus at Gatwick. He became a Director of CATS in 2002, a company that he built up eventually offering his unique online pilot training worldwide. In 2007 this led to the online pilot training system being launched.
CATS offers some of the finest Pilot training materials in the world. Training schools worldwide from Australia to the USA use CATS materials co-branded under partnership.
Stuart's responsibility for this extensive worldwide training initiative has given him a comprehensive knowledge of aviation training, its successes and its difficulties. Stuart holds several other appointments including: Flight examiner (from 2006), Ground theory examiner (from 2005), Commercial Pilot instructor (from 2004).
Stuart has inspired many students both in his former career as a Neuroscientist and now in Pilot training. Insights gained from this educational experience has resulted in the production of his remarkable training media and modern approach to training. |
